About DocAlignED

Built by content creators.
For content creators.

DocAlignED didn't come from a whiteboard. It came from two decades of building training content and needing a better way to prove it maps to the standards that matter.

Our story

We built the tool
we always needed

For over 20 years, our company has built training content for schools, government agencies, and organizations preparing learners for professional certification. We know what it takes to create content that works - and we know how hard it is to prove that it does.

Every client relationship eventually comes to the same moment: someone asks which lessons cover which standards, which topics map to which exam objectives, and what happens when the framework changes. For years, the answer lived in a spreadsheet. Then it took a week to update. Then it fell out of date entirely.

DocAlignED is the product we built to solve that problem for our own content. When we saw how much time it saved - and how clearly it communicated alignment to our clients - we knew it was worth sharing with everyone who faces the same challenge.

"The hardest part of creating great training content was never the content itself. It was showing people exactly what it covered and why that mattered. That's what DocAlignED is for."
The team behind DocAlignED
Why alignment matters

The gap between "we cover this"
and "here's the proof"

Training content only earns trust when the alignment is visible, searchable, and current. Most organizations know their content is good - they just can't show it quickly enough to matter.

Spreadsheets don't scale
Manual alignment matrices are hard to maintain, easy to lose, and impossible for clients to search. They go stale the moment a standard changes.
Audits shouldn't take weeks
When a client, auditor, or curriculum director asks for proof of alignment, the answer should take seconds - not a week of scrambling through documents.
Standards change constantly
Certification exam objectives update. State standards revise. When that happens, knowing exactly what needs re-mapping is the difference between staying current and falling behind.
What DocAlignED does

A searchable map between
your content and the standards it covers

DocAlignED gives you one place to build, maintain, and share the connection between your training content and the standards, frameworks, or exam objectives it was designed to meet.

01 — BUILD
Map your content to any standard
Upload your course structure and map topics to certification exam objectives, state standards, or any framework your clients care about. Full, partial, and introduced alignment strengths keep the picture honest.
02 — SHARE
Give clients a searchable proof page
Every client gets a branded, public-facing search page where they can look up alignment by course, by standard, or by keyword - in seconds, without asking you.
03 — MAINTAIN
Stay current when things change
Stale alignment alerts notify you when standards update so you always know what needs attention. Coverage reports show exactly what's mapped and what isn't - at a glance.
Who it's for

Anyone who needs to prove
their content meets a standard

If you create training content, curriculum, or courseware - and someone asks you to show which standards it covers - DocAlignED is for you.

Curriculum developers and K-12 content teams
Map lessons and units to state standards like Texas TEKS, Common Core, or your own district frameworks. Give administrators, teachers, and buyers a searchable view of exactly what your content covers and where the gaps are.
IT and professional certification training companies
Align your courses to CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or any other certification exam objectives. Show corporate clients and learners exactly which exam domains your content prepares them for - before they invest in training.
Corporate training and compliance teams
Map internal training programs to regulatory requirements, job competency frameworks, or industry standards. Make audit-readiness a baseline instead of a scramble, and give leadership a clear view of coverage at any time.
Government agencies and public sector training teams
Demonstrate that training programs meet mandated standards and policy requirements with a searchable, shareable record of alignment. Reduce the time and effort spent on compliance reporting and curriculum review cycles.
What we believe

A few things we think
are worth saying out loud

Alignment should be searchable, not buried in a spreadsheet
If your clients can't find the alignment themselves in under a minute, it might as well not exist. Proof of alignment only has value when it's accessible to the people who need it.
Proof shouldn't require a meeting to deliver
When a buyer, auditor, or administrator asks what your content covers, the answer should already be waiting for them - live, searchable, and up to date.
Content that maps to outcomes earns more trust
Training content that can clearly demonstrate its connection to real standards, frameworks, and objectives isn't just easier to sell - it's genuinely more useful to the people learning from it.
Stale alignment is worse than no alignment
An outdated alignment map creates a false sense of compliance. Knowing when things need to be updated - and having the tools to act quickly - is what keeps alignment meaningful over time.
